John Ball and Eileen Mitchell,
both long-time publishing professionals, founded
Electronic Publishing Services Inc. (EPS) in 1994.
John was senior vice president of Macmillan Publishing Company responsible for production and manufacturing operations for all divisions and Eileen was head of Editorial, Design, and Production of the Macmillan College Division. When Macmillan was sold to Simon & Schuster (some divisions of which are now owned by Pearson Education) the founders identified the need for a full service production company managed by people from inside the publishing industry. EPS continues that dedication by recruiting the best publishing talent for our team.
